Ang Catholic Church po ba ang tinutukoy na patutot or babaeng mababang lipad sa Revelation 17?

Salamat sa iyong tanong at I have seen this as an allegation sa Catholic Church. Anyway, let us interpret the cited verse accordingly base sa konteksto.

“Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls…” – Rev. 17:3-4

“This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while. 11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction. The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast.” – Rev. 17:9-12

The woman ay nagsisimbolo ng isang nation like INANG BAYAN or MOTHER LAND na kung saan babae ang ginamit na gender. Also, ang babae daw ang nakasuot na kulay purple at may mga gold and precious stones and pearls. Ang color purple ay simbolo ng royalty, at dinagdagan pa ng karangyaan sa pamamagitan ng precious stones and pearls.

Now, anong nation or bansa ang tinutukoy ng writer?

The answer is: the ROME!

How?

Take note the seven heads and ten horns. In Ancient Rome, they have 7 capital hills (Aventine, Caelian, Capitoline, Esquiline, Palatine, Quirinal, and Viminal hills) in which the city of Rome was built. Also, I visited the Greek manuscript at nakita ko ang word na HOROS na ginamit sa word na heads which translated into MOUNTAIN in scriptures. The seven heads also symbolizes 7 kings; five of them are fallen or gone (Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, and Nero) and the 6th emperor is Vespasian na naghari for 10 years and the 7th Titus which reigned only for 2 year (siya ang sinasabi he must remain for only a little while in verse 10), pero ang beast ay naluluklok sa pang 8th na king. Sino siya? Siya si Emperor Domitian, also known as 2nd Nero but worst than Nero. Siya yung Emperor noong isinulat ni St. John ang Book of Revelation. Siya rin ang gumawa ng batas na compulsory na sambahin si Caesar. At ang 10 horns na sinabi ay ang mga sasakop sa Roman Empire in the 5th century - Goths, Huns, Alans, Vandals, Saxons, Burgundians, Franks, Heruli, Suevi, &c. the chief of the barbarians.

To make it short, ang woman na sinasabi ay ang Rome at ang seven heads and 10 horns ay ang Roman Empire.
