Today's Devotion:

365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition

💁🏻 Concept: Incorruptible
Incorruptible refers to the nature of God and the future resurrection bodies of believers. God Himself is incorruptible, meaning He cannot decay, grow old, or be subject to death. Similarly, the resurrection bodies of Christians will be incorruptible—free from sin, sickness, and death. The promise of incorruptibility reminds us that our hope in Christ is secure and eternal. As we await our glorified bodies, we can be confident that God, in His perfection, will make all things new and restore what was once broken.

📖 Bible Readings: Hebrews 2:14-15
(1 Peter 1:4; Philippians 3:20-21; Revelation 21:4; Romans 8:18-23; Philippians 1:21-23; 2 Corinthians 5:8; John 11:25-26; Revelation 14:13; 1 Corinthians 15:54-57; 2 Timothy 1:10; Romans 14:8; John 14:2-3; Hebrews 2:14-15; Galatians 2:20; Romans 6:4-5; Colossians 3:1-4)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Death is just a door to meet Jesus.
2. Death is not the end, but the beginning.
3. Death has been defeated by the life of Christ.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Accept death as a doorway to another life.
2. Be fearless from now on.
3. Celebrate the victorious life of Christ in us.

🎙Discussion:
What are the biblical reasons why you should not fear death?

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord God, thank You for letting me share with the incorruptible nature of Christ. Thank You for the hope of resurrection, knowing that one day I will have a glorified, incorruptible body free from pain, sin, and death. When life feels uncertain or filled with struggles and sickness, remind me that my hope is not in this world, but in the eternal life You offer. Help me to live each day with my eyes fixed on the incorruptible promise of my future resurrection at the return of Christ. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
