Chris is a policeman who tries to befriend the people on the streets. His career starts with a challenge when he arrests Buboy, a snatcher who steals to support his sick grandmother and his education. Chris gives Buboy some money and never sees him again, as Buboy gets adopted and continues his studies. Chris also helps Boy, a drunkard and a gambler who abuses his wife Fe, by giving him marriage advice. He shares his food with Boyet, another thief who has no family. He teaches Bebang, a dishonest vendor, how to sell her goods fairly.

One day, Chris gets hit by a car while saving a child. The people he helped, Boy, Bebang, and Boyet, take him to the hospital. When he wakes up, he thanks them and is surprised to see that the doctor is Buboy, the snatcher he helped years ago. Buboy, who is grateful to Chris, pays for his medical expenses.
