CARE's livelihood beneficiary in Pontevedra, Capiz (2)

Sherlita Borlado of Barangay Intongcan in Pontevedra, Capiz was heavily affected by typhoon Haiyan. Her house and her livelihood were both damaged. She needed to look for another job to buy food for her family.

Sherlita became part of CARE's livelihood recovery program with the support of the Dutch Foundation. She was able to buy-and-sell different kinds of vegetables and charcoal. She also started the repair of her house from the earnings she get from her restored livelihood.
