After five years of marriage, a couple finally has a child. Upon her medical examination, Mrs. Benico, who is over 35 years old, needs a high-risk doctor for pre-natal screening. Her doctor explains that based on the ultrasound, her baby has nuchal fold thickening and an oversized head, which are signs of Down syndrome. The doctor then suggests a procedure called amniocentesis, which involves taking a sample of the amniotic fluid to test for chromosomal abnormalities.

Despite this diagnosis, Mrs. Benico decides not to undergo the procedure. Her husband Rommell is doubtful of her decision due to her advanced maternal age. Their faith and trust in God prevail and they overcome the challenges of pregnancy and parenthood.

In her valedictorian speech, their daughter expresses her deep appreciation towards her parents, especially to her mother who raised her well, and her gratitude to God for giving her an inspiring life.
