A friendship nearly fell apart because of borrowed money. Alyssa was merciful and helpful. She recommended her friend, Mikee, for a job to her boss and got her hired. Mikee tried to borrow money from Alyssa for the tuition fee of her sibling but opted for a cash advance instead. One day, Mikee noticed that Alyssa was sad and worried due to her sick mother. Mikee immediately lent money to Alyssa and told her to pay her back soon since she also had financial obligations.

Mikee was furious about Alyssa’s failure to pay on time. In her anger, she charged some products to Alyssa's account. As they were bickering over Mikee's actions, their boss overheard them and reprimanded them both. The boss revealed all the help Alyssa had given Mikee when she made a mistake in inventory and how Alyssa helped Mikee get her cash advance approved even though she was new to the company. Mikee was terminated immediately but Alyssa pleaded with her boss to give Mikee another chance, and the boss agreed to let Mikee return to work after two weeks.
