Response to Typhoon Rolly
Access to clean and safe water has been a challenge for the residents of Brgy. Joroan in Tiwi, Albay after Typhoon Rolly struck their homes.. There have been previous reports of diarrhea within the community and with the current context of the health pandemic, maintaining proper hygiene is a top priority.
In partnership with the barangay council, CARE has been able to repair water systems within the barangay and make way for alternative water sources.
This initiative to provide support to Typhoon Rolly-affected communities is supported by USAID - US Agency for International Development USAID Philippines and co-implemented by Action Against Hunger Philippines
