Rising after the storm: Gregoria's story of cooperation

Four years after super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) brought catastrophic damage in the Philippines, farmers have worked hard to recover and rehabilitate damaged agricultural lands. Gregoria Idusma is one of the cassava farmers who believe that recovery is possible if they cooperate and work with each other.

Graciana became part of CARE’s Typhoon Haiyan Reconstruction Assistance program in partnership with Fatima Multi-Purpose Cooperative and funded by the Global Affairs Canada. The program supports farmers to establish, manage and sustain cassava production enterprises benefitting their respective communities as well.
