Rosalie's Story of Growth after Yolanda
It was challenging for coconut farmers in Leyte to recover after Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) wiped out their coconut plantations. But after finding hope in cassava production, they are now able to earn from it and support their families.
Rosalie Uribe is one of the farmers who prove that growth is a result of forces working together. With support from her family, she knows she can bounce back from any disaster in her life.

Rosalie became part of CARE’s Typhoon Haiyan Reconstruction Assistance program in partnership with Fatima Multi-Purpose Cooperative and funded by the Global Affairs Canada. The program supports farmers to establish, manage and sustain cassava production enterprises benefitting their respective communities as well.
