My first Jeepney Ride from BGC to Guadalupe did not go as planned. Riding a Jeepney in the Philippines as a foreigner does not come easy. There is a Jeepney etiquette you need to learn. Where to sit, how to pay, how to enter and exit. How to ask the driver to stop.
On my first journey I got to experience all of those and more, and I was quite fascinated by how communal the payment in Jeepneys get handled in Manila. I still can't believe these iconic Jeepneys are actually being phased out in April 2024.
